Asian grocery stores and supermarkets stock ingredients, snacks and household goods that general American supermarkets often do not carry, organized by category rather than by country of origin in most stores. Produce and live or fresh seafood sections are usually at the back or side of the store, and weekend mornings bring the largest crowds and freshest restock. Many larger Asian supermarkets include a hot deli or food court counter selling prepared meals by the pound or as fixed plates, useful for a quick lunch while shopping. Labels are frequently bilingual or untranslated, so store staff can usually help locate a specific ingredient if you ask. Cash, cards and mobile pay are all commonly accepted at larger chains; smaller specialty shops may be cash-preferred.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–7 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Ohio City Provisions at (216) 465-2762; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. More information is available on its website, ohiocityprovisions.com.

first time going here as we were looking for really good steaks. well despite being pricey, my god they were incredible. purchased two HUGE porter house steaks, $124. 4.14 lbs. once cooked on the grill, they were the most tender, juicey, flavorful steaks we have ever had anywhere. weighed the bome afterwards, total weight of 8oz. so 3.5lbs of meat. very expensive but for a once in awhile treat, absolutely worth it!

I love how this place just keeps on feeling more and more like a grocery store. They’ve got so much here besides the amazing quality and variety of meats. From the staff to the chocolate chip cookies to the bread - this place is top.

I got overcharged for some honey I purchased. 1 bottle cost $12.15 & the other bottle was cost $7.. but I was charged $25…. Meaning the cashier ran the $12.15 bottle twice… I’d like to be refunded the difference, which is 6 bucks! However, this place is very nice with High Quality farm products! I enjoy shopping here!

Food poisoning from ground beef. Layed 4 days in bed with chills and muscle aches and diarrhea. I had bought five 1lb packages of ground beef and everyone was sticky smelly and bad. I feel like a fool that I ate them thinking this was the texture of the local meat and smell of grass fed. I take no pleasure in writing this. I wanted to support a fresh butcher too farm store very bad. This is the second time I have got bad meat from a small shop. Best to buy your meat at Whole Foods where they have safety precautions and throw out old meat . I did contact the store with no response. And the fact that they would sell me rotten beef I would be in fear to touch any meat from here again.

We are so happy we found this place!! We were looking for a local farm store with pasture-raised meats, A2/A2 milk, and organic produce. I love that this is both a butcher and a market, so you can get all the ingredients you need to make a nutrient dense meal. We go 1-2 times a week and have been blown away by both the quality and consistency of their products and the kindness of their staff. We have seen a lot of people purchase their farm eggs, which we hope to pick up next time around! They also sell flour, quinoa, jam, nut butters, wine, yogurt, handmade tofu, homemade pasta, etc. We picked up a cherry pie today with simple ingredients, which reminded me of something my Grandmother would make. I highly recommend their cheese curds (we have tried the garlic dill and cajun flavored curds), the Choriqueso smoked salchicha, the whole milk, and the chicken patties. We have been impressed with everything we have purchased from here, so you really can’t go wrong! There is plenty of parking available across the street and around the corner. I highly recommend!
